i got a 89 sedan maybe a week ago.....and i need an exhaust badly..... thsi thing has a new oem one......but u all know who can handle the mad sound dem make.... i nned and exhaustr abd cant find a 4 door one.... is the exhaust the same for like a crx/hb as i need?i kinda dont think so but still want to ask?

yea i was thining about i....but i think im guan buy a cheap ebay exhaust...for a hb r crx..and cut the tip off...wan weld on an extention pipe thing...... it will work i think the whoe exhaust is all the same except for the tip....

That would totally work BUT, The reason EbAy sells cheap exhaust is because there CHEAP.  You should only plan on having your EbAy can for like 1 1/2 to 2 years MAX.  The welds will not last long on a cheap exhaust they just arent put to the test like big name brands, and arent race tested like all name brands.  And they do not use high standards, the market is big for aftermarket exhaust and if someone can make a decent looking exhaust out of tin foil and sell it for a doller...........they will.  Buy a nice exhaust doesnt have to be the whole cat-back just the muffler and have someone weld it on if you say you just had replaced cat-back with OE you would be fine with just a muffler.  It is going to sound like a weed eater hyped up but its prolly 1.25 or 1.50 OEM piping small pipe makes LOUD noise.

So you be the judge of what you want man, just be prepared to buy another "megan racing" exhaust in a year or 2.

my car dies once u put it in gear. like  start it in netural. shift to first and it dies.... restart it and try to drive it bogs and dies
