It's been over a year but I went to my first show/race in April 08 and realized some things just haven't changed. You got import guys talking shit to muscle car guys and muscle car guys being dicks. People need to chill the f#&k out, respect each other and stop hating, this shit's weak.
And of course fat asses who don't buy two airplane tickets and then ooze themselves into my seat.
MUSIC
A pretty wide variety, from RATM, No Doubt, Dre, Notorious BIG, to Clapton and Zappa. and course you can't go wrong with Slimm Calhoun or TQ.
MOVIES
Matrix, V for Vendetta, Super Troopers, Grandma's Boy, Ronin, Blazing Saddles, Dirty Work. oh yeah, and Samurai Jack is the man.
The car is a 99 Si and I got it in june '06. The previous owner had mild engine mods. Since I have had it I have focused mostly on the suspension and brakes.
PERFORMANCE UPGRADES
All upper and lower control arms from Skunk2, Power slot rotors, EBC pads, Russell SS lines, Omnipower full coilovers and PasswordJDM braces.
Also a stage 2 ACT clutch, Fidanza flywheel, short ram intake and DC sports header and exhaust. The VAFC II is installed but it hasn't been dyno-tuned yet.
EXTERIOR MODS
What you see is what you get, very mild on the outside, factory lip kit and spoiler. Picked up a set of black 16X7 Rota Slipstreams while at Atco in April and I think they complement the car well without being over the top.
INTERIOR MODS
Momo wheel and shift knob, Fixed back Corbeau seat. every thing is basically stock except for the VAFC-II and Megan Racing A/F and EGT gages, if it ain't broken don't try and fix it.
AUDIO & VIDEO
alpine speakers in factory locations with a sony headunit. if it running right, tunes aren't exactly a priority.
COMPETITION & AWARDS
have never entered anything, I do this for no one but myself.
FUTURE PLANS
getting ready to toss the Short Ram for a Cold Air Intake but other than that I am not quite sure. It turns like it is on rails, it stops on a dime, the only thing left to do is motor work and I don't want to compromise the reliability and driveability. I am thinking about picking up a spare b16 or b18 and build it from scratch but not sure what direction to go in. To boost or not to boost? The JR kit is looking tempting but I ain't rushing things.

well on mine car it make so much different that is crazy..the vtec now kick in at 6000rpm and that redline is at 9000rpm..and it fit the oem harness but when that shit hit vtec it feel 10 times stronger than oem ecu
clean car and thats a great suspension work man, now talking about massachusetts thats where i live and lemme tell u, its the worst place for tuned up imports in the whole country. peace out bro
Looking for advice- I have a 200 SI 1.6 DOHC, and wanting HP. The most bang for the buck. Do you think SuperC or TurboC ? I could just go with bolt on parts, but there is so much more HP with the chargers. Love to hear your thoughts.
